Packaging & Presentation
When I received the Kid-E-Cover, I was really excited to try it! It is a very high quality product, and you can tell just by looking at it! I opened up the pack, and it is packaged in a zip top bag for easy opening! Inside came the Kid-E-Cover itself, along with a screw for installation, and lastly the installation instructions.
Ease of Use
I found it extremely simple to install the Kid-E-Cover. I replaced my electrical cover with the Kid-E-Cover in my living room, as my 2 year old son always tries to play with this one!
I took off my outlet cover. . .
And put the new one on!
It took me 2 minutes, tops!
What I really like about it, is it matches my décor, and it makes the room look fresh!
Lastly, I tested it out!
You need to pull the little switch on the side, and it opens the socket for use. It’s really easy, and a great idea if you have small children around the house!

Summary
I really like having the Kid-E-Cover at my house. I can most certainly say that I feel much more safe knowing that my son cannot stick anything in the sockets!
My husband was impressed with the quality, as well.
We are both buying more Kid-E-Covers to place in his room!

We got a new puppy today! She came all the way from Ohio! My sister brought her down for me!
She is a mix of Red-Nosed Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and Chocolate Lab!
She is the sweetest thing ever, and makes a wonderful addition to our family!

Polar Plunge 2011
I just wanted to let everybody know that I am participating in this years Polar Plunge.
It's going to be cold.
But it is worth it! It benefits the Special Olympics!
I am trying to raise donations for the Special Olympics.
I am party of the Hampton Roads NROTC team!
Basically, on February 5, 2011 we jump in to the freezing Atlantic Ocean!
It costs $100 to plunge, but that money goes to the Special Olympics!

Hey, all.
It's been one of those weeks for me.
I've been pretty stressed out, because the program that I am in for the Navy (STA-21) requires that I get my full bachelors degree within a 36 month timeframe, including Calc 211 and 212, and Physics 231N, and 232N. (Navy Requirements that don't go towards my degree). I chose to get my degree in Decision Science (Basically, Business Statistics). I love that stuff. However, I don't think I can complete it in 36 months.
If I don't have my bachelors in 36 months, I get sent back to the fleet as enlisted for another 6 years, and I have to pay back ALL the money that the Navy has given me for school. (NOT CHEAP!)
SO. . .
Here is the good news!
I was a prior Sonar Technician in my enlisted time. I went through lots of Oceanography schooling for that!
I looked at the Degree Plan for a bachelors in Oceanography, and I have the entire core done, because it transfers from my Navy Education.
The required (2) Calculus classes and (2) Physics classes actually go towards my degree!
I did the math, and I can complete my bachelors in 2.5 semesters!!
Do you know how excited I am? I feel like something is going right for me, and somebody has answered my prayers. =]
Luckily, I am done with the core oceanography parts, because it is really hard. I am a great student, and I really have been blessed.
Thanks for listening, everybody. I know this probably isn't very interesting to you, but it feels great to get that off my chest!!

I received my iPhone Pocket Sketchbook in the mail, and I took a look at it, and my creativity 'want' to be creative came out! I saw lots of potential opportunities to be made.
It is a great tool for iPhone application developers, as it rules exactly the dimensions of the iPhone 3, 3G, 3GS, and 4 as well as the iTouch.

Ease of Use
The book relies on simplicity, as it is an inspiration to the right-brained society!
I really like that it is small in size, as you can carry it everywhere (either in your pocket or purse!) This is really quite convenient, because you never know when an idea is going to come through!
The iPhone Pocket Sketch Notebook not only gives you a grid like drawing space, but it also gives you an outline, so you can see exactly how your application will look in its finished state.
The inside-cover provides a useful page for your information, so you can make sure to claim it if it is lost!
Within the back cover lies an iPhone App Sales Matrix (Revenue & Profit).
I really like this, because if you happen to get out of touch with what idea you are trying to portray within the sketch book, you can look at this for a little motivation. =]

Summary
I really enjoyed reviewing this book. My husband is going to use it to design his own game! Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with the ‘creativity-design’ gene, so I’m going to leave it up to him!
These books are a great price, and would be a great gift for a new developer, or perhaps somebody that has been developing applications for quite awhile now!
