Bru Joy sent me the Deluxe Stainless Steel Garlic Press for review.

Packaging & Presentation

When I opened up the exterior box, I was excited to find the new garlic press!  

The front of the box was pretty basic, it showed a picture of the contents.

When I flipped it over, the back of the box gave a little more detail, and specified that it is indeed, 100% dishwasher safe (which is definitely a plus for me)!

Upon opening the box, the garlic press and the cleaning brush were wrapped in cellophane.  There were no instructions inside the box.

My Personal Experience with the Bru Joy Stainless Steel Garlic Press

First, I would like to state that I have never used a garlic press before, and garlic is definitely my favorite ingredient in all my meals.  I was one of those people who took the easy way out and bought the jarred stuff from the grocery store.  I had no idea you could get fresh minced garlic in seconds by using one of these handy contraptions. I inspected it.  It was definitely a quality made press!  No breaking this easily!  It extended 180º, and has 2 handles and a free-swinging chamber.

Next, I got everything set up so I can try it out!  The only fresh garlic I had was elephant garlic, and the cloves are huge.  The manufacturer states that only 2 medium-sized garlic cloves should go in the chamber at one time.  I chopped mine up so it was approximately the size of such.

I was finally ready to press the garlic!  I inserted the garlic clove into the chamber...

...and I had fresh minced garlic!

The cleanup was simple, too.  After you are done pressing all the garlic that you need for your recipe, you wash it under warm water.  You can use the included brush to get the skins and the remaining garlic out of the chamber without having to touch it.  Also, since it is 100% dishwasher safe, it's easy to get it super clean!

Lastly, the storage solution is easy!  You can either stick it back in the original box and store it in a drawer or you can take advantage of the 2 hanging rings on the back of the handles and hang it up in your kitchen like I did:

Pros of the Bru Joy Stainless Steel Garlic Press

• Heavy duty.  This will never break.  You can probably run it over with a truck, and still press garlic the next minute!

• Super easy.  It was very easy to press through the chamber.

• Money saver.  Pre-minced jarred garlic is expensive compared to a small bulb.  Plus it is fresh.  What can compare to that?!

Cons of the Bru Joy Stainless Steel Garlic Press

• No included instructions.  I know that it is pretty simple to figure out, but some people like detailed steps like I do so I know I am getting the most out of my garlic press.

• It must be hung up on 2 equidistant hooks, you can not hang it up on one, or it fully extends.

Summary

Not all garlic presses are made the same.  That is the truth!  Even though I have never used one before, I will never be able to use another.  I am hooked on this device, and I will get as much use out of it as I can.  

I was super happy with the results of the review, and now I have an excuse to put more garlic in my recipes!

Packaging & Presentation

The Deep Cleansing Facial Oil arrived in a brown glass bottle filled with 4 fl oz of makeup remover.  It was nicely packaged and wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure the bottle did not break.  The way that it is designed to be applied is through a pump-top, allowing a small amount of product to be dispensed at a time. 

What I really liked is on the back of the bottle, Instanatural lists exactly what is in the product.  I like to know all of the ingredients, because I do not like putting a bunch of random chemicals on my skin.  All the ingredients in this facial oil are derived naturally, and a lot of them are organic.

When I opened the Youth Express Eye Gel, I was pretty impressed with the size of the bottle.  I was expecting a tiny little jar, but instead it is 1.7 fl oz of product.  It will last a long time!  It comes in a white plastic bottle.

My Personal Experience with Instanatural's Deep Cleansing Facial Oil and Youth Express Eye Gel

First, I would like to say that I have never used an oily product as a makeup remover.  I was scared that since I have combination skin that it would make me break out even more.  Needless to say, I've been using the Deep Cleansing Facial Oil for 2 days now, and there is not even a small breakout anywhere.  It really does work well, too.  I usually go for the natural makeup look, but I do wear a lot of it.  I had all of my makeup off in about 45 seconds.  I took some pictures of the entire process of using the Deep Cleansing Facial Oil so you can see what it entails.

First, I want to start with a picture of me wearing a full face of makeup.  Foundation, concealer, a veil, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, highlighter, brow gel, bronzer, blush, and lipstick.  It doesn't look like much, but it is all there!

Next, I dispensed the Deep Cleansing Facial Oil onto a normal cotton ball.  As you can see, the product is yellow.

After that, I simply wiped the cotton ball all over my face, and the makeup easily came off!

I happened to look at the cotton ball when I was done, and it was pretty gross.  It took off all of my makeup really quickly.

Next, I rinsed my face.  No need for soap, this cleanser also cleans your face. It's pretty neat.

Finally, within 45 seconds, my face was makeup free.

After I took off all of my makeup, it was time to use the Youth Express Eye Gel.  I dispensed a dime sized amount on my index finger...

...then I applied it under my eyes and the surrounding areas.  This eye gel is good for dark circles, puffiness, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

Pros of the Instanatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil and Youth Express Eye Gel

• A makeup removing, cleansing oil.  How neat is that?!  

• Both of the products smell amazing!  No chemical smells, and no dry skin.

• Easy application design.  No turning the bottle upside down and hoping to get each drop out of the bottle.  The pump design allows easy dispensing without stress of waste.

• The amount of time it takes to use is awesome. It's fast and effective.

• The oil may not agree with everybody's skin type.  In order to try it, you have to buy it.  However, Instanatural does have a money back guarantee if you do not like it, or it doesn't work for you.

Summary

I really enjoy using these products.  No more messing with makeup wipes that are really expensive for a small amount, and no more messing with skin-drying Noxema.  The eye gel is really nice, it provides a cool-relief sensation which is different.

I like the size of both of these products, you are really getting your money's worth for sure!
