I was sent 3 different kits from Markwins International.  The kits are:  Electro Glam Mascara, Liquilights Glow Gloss, and the Rock Me Nail Kit.

Each kit in this collection is available from $16.50 from your major department stores (Macy's, Dillards, Boscov's, Stage Stores, Beauty Brands, and Lord & Taylor) beginning November 15, 2014!

Packaging & Presentation

Each kit in this collection has a flip-top box with a white protective slip cover.  All of the important information is printed on the covers, so do not throw them away!

The first kit is the Electroglam Mascara.  This kit features (3) mascaras.

Each mascara is nested inside a black plastic holder.

Next, the Liqulights Glow Gloss kit contains (3) glosses.

The glosses are also seated in a plastic holder.

The last kit is the Rock Me Nail Kit.  This kit contains (3) varnishes and (3) glitter toppings.

The nail varnishes are seated on top of the glitter.

My Personal Experience with the Makeup by One Direction Kits

Makeup just doesn't have to be professional, it can be fun, too!  These new kits by One Direction give you a fun look that doesn't go overboard.  Each piece has something interesting about it that makes it stand out from other brands.

The first kit that my model (aka-- my mother) tried is the Electroglam Mascara.  These are super bold mascaras that can be used for your hair or your eyelashes.  They are also so easy to apply!  They come in gorgeous colors:

'Why don’t we go there'- Shock of blue
'Does he know?'- Pinkest hot pink 
'Story of my life'- Amped canary yellow 

Next, my mom and I tried the Liquilights Glow Gloss kit.  These lip glosses are very sparkly, and they also illuminate under UV black light!  You can wear these solo, or pair it with a cream lipstick.  These lip glosses come in a variety of colors, too.

'Through the Dark'- Electric glitter poppy lip gloss that glows to neon red-orange under UV light 
'Kiss You'- Orange glitter rush lip gloss that glows to neon yellow under UV light 
'Taken' - Powerhouse glitter pink lip gloss that glows to neon orange under UV light

Lastly, we tried the Rock Me Nail Kit!  This was a lot of fun because my mom never paints her nails.  I was able to test each color out on her.  What's neat about these nail varnishes is that they are neon UV-reactive, and the glitter toppings are also UV-reactive!

'Kicks'- UV snow cone blue

'Not afraid'- UV electrified pink glitter 

'Star'-- UV holo glitter 

'Happily'– UV iced blue glitter 

'Moments'- UV neon pink 

'Diana'- UV 3D holographic 

Look how adorable the colors turned out!  The nails are bold and work great from daytime through the night!

Pros of the Makeup by One Direction Kits

• Each piece is made with high quality pigments.

• This is made by One Direction, so if you or someone you know loves this band, this will make an excellent gift!

• You can find these in a fine store near you.

• These are fun colors! 

Cons of the Makeup by One Direction Kits

• There are no cons of these kits.

Summary

These were so incredibly fun to use.  These can be used as a daily piece or they can be used for special occasions.  The hair mascara was heavily pigmented, and even the yellow showed up strong in blonde hair.  The lip glosses stayed on a long time, and are very vibrant.  The nail polish compares to high end polish that stays on a long time (if you don't pick at it!).

If you like One Direction, if you like make up, or if you like BOTH, you should check this out.  It's a great starter kit, and it'll make a great Christmas gift!
