What is it exactly?

"Now swimmers can enjoy the pool without worrying about the side-effects of pool chemicals. SwimSpray completely eliminates chlorine from hair and skin with a new vitamin C technology. In contrast to traditional "swimmers shampoos," SwimSpray actually works. Chlorine removal shampoos leave lingering chlorine (aka chloramines) behind. But SwimSpray completely eliminates the chlorine. The difference is noticeable after one use because the swimmer's chlorine odor disappears. SwimSpray is a step forward for swimmers' haircare and skincare because it neutralizes all of the lingering chlorine that other swimmers' haircare and skincare products leave behind."

Packaging & Presentation of SwimSpray
SwimSpray arrived at my house in a box and was safely packaged with Styrofoam padding. Everything was intact, and there were no leaks.
The bottle stands about 5" tall, and is almost 2" wide at its base. The bottle is primarily white with orange and lavender accents.
The front of the bottle labels the product, and lets the consumer know its purpose.
The back of the bottle outlines usage directions, cautions, ingredients, storage information, and a question/comments hot line.
There is also a lot number printed on the bottle. Distribution information is provided next to the UPC.
SwimSpray uses a measured spray application method, and the 4 fl oz bottle is good for approximately 600 sprays, which is 20-30 swims depending how many times you spray it in the shower. There is an included cap to keep the sprayer dust free.
My Personal Experience with SwimSpray
I have always been a swimmer. My parents started a swimming pool business a little after I was born. I grew up around swimming pools, so naturally I took on swimming at a very early age.
After years and years of swimming, I have never heard of a product that erases the chlorine smell from your skin and hair. Let alone a natural product!
This is exactly what SwimSpray is. It is a Vitamin C based product that eliminates chlorine odor from your skin and hair, all while you take a shower!
Before I use anything, I always like to look at it. SwimSpray is yellow-orange in color, and is totally fragrance-free.
It's SO incredibly easy to use! After you get out of the pool, you rinse off in the shower. Then you spray SwimSpray in your hair and on your body about 20-30 times. Then you shower normally with your usual products and the terrible chlorine/bromine smell is gone for good!
Pros of SwimSpray
- The small bottle makes it easy to take along with you in your swim bag.
- This product is 100% natural.
- Fragrance-free. It will not interfere with your shower product fragrances.
- Each bottle gives you 600 sprays!
- Prevents damage to your skin and hair.
Cons of SwimSpray
- On the website, each bottle is $15.00. If you buy 2, the total is $30.00. If you buy 3, the total is $34.99. I think the price should be lower if you buy multiples in general. I think the pack of 2 should be priced around $24.99 so the customer has incentive to buy multiples.
- I think SwimSpray should offer different sized bottles of this product at different price points.
Summary
I really like SwimSpray. As a person who has enjoyed swimming all of these years, the damaging properties of chlorine are all too familiar to me. I love that SwimSpray is an all natural product. It's nice to be able to treat a chemical issue with a non-chemical solution.
