Review / Giveaway – Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs!
What is it exactly?
From the website…
"...With new Cascade Complete - you won´t mind taking turns at the sink. And if the thought of dirty dishes in the sink has ever made you think twice about making a favorite meal, Cascade Complete is here to help. The excess scrubbing of cookware and dirty tableware is not only tiring, but time consuming. Allowing the remains of a delicious dinner to set in its baking dish could mean water logged fingers and hours in the kitchen. Put your pre-soaking days behind you, and lighten your load with Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs. They break down, dissolve, and rinse away tough food particles, leaving your hands free and your dishes sparkling. Sound too good to be true? We dare you to take the 24 Hour Challenge..." |
Review…
I’ve recently had the pleasure of reviewing Cascade Complete All-in-1 Action Pacs! Please read on . . .
Packaging & Presentation
For review, I received a Corning Ware dish to make a cobbler in, 5 Cascade Complete Action Pacs to giveaway, and a $15 dollar Walmart Gift Card as the grand prize!
Ease of Use
This review was one of the most fun that I have ever done! In order to thoroughly test out what Cascade Complete Action Pacs have to offer, I had to make a cobbler and dirty up the dishes! My friend Melissa B. and I decided to make a mixed-berry cobbler!
First, I would like to put up some pictures of the cobbler-making process:
As you can see, everybody loved the cobbler and we remained with a very dirty dish! We took the 24-Hour Challenge, and let the dish sit for 24 hours. I was getting worried, as it did not look like an easy dish to clean!!
Luckily, Cascade Complete Action Pacs came to the rescue!
As per the rules for the 24-Hour Challenge, I am not supposed to rinse out the dish before putting it into the dishwasher. Here you can see the extremely dirty cobbler dish in the dishwasher rack:
I put a single Cascade Complete Action Pac into the compartment.
… and wa-la! Here it is, clean as can be!
Pros
- A single Cascade Complete Action Pac works for the entire dishwasher load
- No rinsing dishes before you put them in the dishwasher
- Inexpensive
- No residue left on dishes after the cycle is complete
Summary
I still can’t believe my eyes! Look how clean this dish looks. I am really impressed with how well Cascade Complete Action Pacs worked! I most certainly will be making some more cobbler, as I won’t have to scrub the remnants of the dessert out of the serving dishes anymore!!

The baked beans residue left in the correle casserole. I know that Cascade will clean it well, so that it is clean, bright and shiny.
thanks

I would love to test Cascade out on my baked Chicken Teriyaki dish after cooking.

This would be for me. I just started actually using my dishwasher!
I would like to try it out on my removeable crockpot liner when I make pot roast. It always has to go the dishwasher twice. So, that would be my big test.

I would like to make Fettuccini Alfredo and use the bowl in which I make the sauce for the 24 Hour Cascade Challenge. The sauce sticks to the bowl and makes the bowl difficult to clean.
