Packaging & Presentation of Body Merry Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream

I've never bought a jar of cellulite defense cream before, so I really didn't know what to expect.  The jar came packaged in a red an white box.


The back of the box explains how to use the product, the cautions associated with use, the ingredients, and distributor information.

Next, I took it out of the box, and opened it up.  There is a security cover placed over the top.  

My Personal Experience with Body Merry Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream

Like I mentioned above, I've never tried a cellulite cream before.  It's supposed to absorb in your skin and reduce the appearance of bumps and lumps that you don't want to see.  It is also supposed to tighten your skin giving it a smoother and younger appearance.  With a combination of caffeine, 0.4% retinol, and seaweed-- I was looking forward to seeing what this product would do.

My weight has fluctuated a bit over the past 6 years due to having kids, but I'm overall in pretty decent shape.  I do have a bit of cellulite on the back of my thighs that I tried this product on for a week.  I'm not going to get that personal and show you pictures of the process, but I did take a little bit of the gel-cream and rubbed it on my arm so you can see what it looks like.  It smells like a strong menthol.

Another way that I applied the cellulite defense gel-cream was by putting a dollop on my thigh using a plastic spoon, and rubbing it in with my cellulite brush.  I'm not sure where I bought this brush, but I have had it a while.  I like using this method better so I didn't have to actually touch the gel-cream as it is kind of sticky in an odd way.

Did it work?  I used it for a week, and I can honestly say that I noticed that my skin was definitely firmer and tighter.  However, the same amount of cellulite still exists.  I'm pretty sure that if I keep using it as instructed that it will visibly reduce the spots that I am trying to get rid of.  As of right now the only things I have noticed is that it did help firm and tighten the areas.  Also, the name has the word 'defense' in it, so hopefully it helps fend off future cellulite.

• Natural and Organic.  There are no harsh chemicals in this product!

• Easy to use.  Just grab some, apply, and rub it in!

• It tingles, and I liked it.  When I feel a product working I know that something must be working!

• This product costs a lot less than other creams that have less ingredients.

• Not tested on animals!

Cons of Body Merry Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream

• It is kind of sticky.

• It has somewhat of a medicated smell.  Kind of like Mentholatum, if you've ever used it.

• If you apply the gel-cream morning and night (depending on the area you intend to cover), it won't last a great length of time. 

Summary

After a week of venturing into the cellulite defense gel-cream world, I found out that I kind of liked it.  Although I still visually see the small imperfections of which I am trying to get rid of, I did notice a total difference in the firmness and tightness of the area that I used it on.  I did not like applying it in the morning and smelling like I just used Mentholatum, but my husband said that it wasn't noticeable.  I love the fact that this gel-cream is designed to work in the manner that it does without using any harsh chemicals.
