The Rock Ranch is welcoming the season with its Fall Family Fun Days-- hosting a themed full-day event every Saturday from now until November 15.  Click here for details on each themed Saturday event.

Riding on the cow train! I was surprised I fit in the barrel.
Charlie in the fire truck!
My family and I attended The Rock Ranch on September 27, the day of the Hats Off for Heroes event and also the kick off of the Fall Family Fun Days.

Charlie on the Giant Jumping Pillow
Paddle boats!
The experience was phenomenal!  To be honest, I've never heard of The Rock Ranch.  Interestingly enough, I learned that this 1,500 acre cattle ranch is owned by Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy.

Charlie and the petting zoo pony
Pumpkin Launcher-- this was awesome!!
The ranch is open from 10:00 am through 8:00 pm on Saturdays for the Fall Family Fun Days.  The Farm Market is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am through 5:30 pm.  I'm letting you know right now that the entire day will be filled with stuff to do. There are acres upon acres of activities that are family friendly.

There are zip lines, pony rides, train rides, the huge jumping pillow (my son's favorite) a really cute Tiny Town, paddle boats, a fun and enjoyable corn maze, a petting zoo with information about the animals, a pumpkin cannon, and SO much more.

During our event, local heroes brought fire trucks, helicopters, police cars and more for everybody to check out. My son climbed in the driver's seat of the fire truck and had a chance to honk its horn.

The food was great!
The Wizard of Oz characters were even there!

Meeting the Wizard of Oz characters!
There are a bunch of places to eat, so you won't walk around starving!
Want to know something else that is really awesome?  All of the activities are pretty much free.  The only things that you really have to pay for are:  food, drinks, zip lining, rock climbing, and the carousel.  Of course you do have to buy tickets.  You can buy the tickets online, or you can just pay at the gate.  Children 3 and under are free.  The admission tickets are $15.00 each (good for the full day) and keep in mind all of the activities that are included in the ticket price.

Tractor ride to the ranch
Train ride!
You really need to get out to The Rock Ranch during the Fall Family Fun Days. There are 7 more fall events remaining, so get your Saturday planned out now!

Me zip lining (first time ever!)
On another note, The Rock Ranch isn't solely for the Fall Family Fun Days.   They host special events all through out the year, which you can find on their website.

There are farm stays, overnight Conestoga wagon camping, tent camping, picnic areas, and a farm market to check out.  All of this information can be found on their website.  There is SO much to do at The Rock Ranch.

Seriously, this can be a weekend well spent.

I'm giving away a family 4-pack of tickets at Fullington Academy's Fall Festival in Pinehurst, Georgia on 10/31/14 in a prize basket.  Stop by and enter for your chance to win!

I'm not saying this as Melissa's husband, but as a person who visited The Rock Ranch, I cannot express enough how fun this place was for our family. If you're just looking to get outta the house, you CANNOT go wrong here. An absolute blast for everyone.
