Packaging & Presentation of the Ozeri 4x3razor Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer
The pedometer arrived to me in perfect condition. There were no defects with the packaging. The box measures 6.25" x 3.5". The box is clear, and it snaps on the top so luckily, you don't have to deal with clam shell packaging.
The front of the box labels the product and brand. You can also view the actual pedometer through the clear packaging. It has a quote from Evan Kimber, a 100 mile Ultra Runner Champion. It also gives a few interesting details about the product. The back of the package discusses 9 important details of the pedometer. It also explains the Tri-Axis Motion Sensor technology.
The plastic package has resealable tabs. It is very easy to open, all you have to do is pull it apart!
Inside the package, you will find the following: the pedometer device, a belt clip, an extra battery, a detachable lanyard, and the setup/use instructions.
Make sure you pull out the little plastic strip to get your pedometer working! There is also a protective cover on the display that you can remove.
Yes! I've always wanted a pedometer, but I wasn't sure where to start. There are so many out there with so many options. I personally believe the simpler the better. I looked forward to reviewing this pedometer. It looked really awesome in the pictures, and the description was enticing.
First things first-- the instructions. For such a simple device, there is a lot of setup and you need to learn your way around the pedometer so you get the best use out of it. The package contains a full sheet of directions that cover the following topics:

+ Using Your Pedometer-- explains what each mode does
+ Memory Mode-- relays the last 7 days of your data

I attached the lanyard because I wanted to wear the pedometer on my jacket.
The back of the pedometer is where the belt clip and the cold-reset button is located. It is an internal button so you can't 'accidentally' press it.
The default screen relays your total steps and the time. If you press MODE you can cycle through the other data views (distance, calories, fat burn, activity time, and 99-day total step).

This pedometer is awesome! I've quickly become addicted. It's one thing to have a daily goal, but it's a completely different thing to see it actually in progress. I think pedometers hold a lot of people accountable to their goals. What I like about this pedometer in specific is that it is simple. There are a lot of different modes, but the screen defaults to the easiest information. Plus, it also doubles as a watch. :)
