..::Product Review::.. Suddora Sweatband Set

My Review of the Suddora Sweatband Set

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Before we even begin to produce or design our sporting accessories, we look through the eyes of our customers who will be using them. We need to be sure that any single product we carry will be beneficial to them. Every single aspect of the product matters – whether it be the special comfortable terry cloth we use to make a sweatband or designing our sports mouth guards so they can fit custom to any mouth – every little detail counts. Once we have all the details down and our customer begin buying our sports products we listen to the feedback and adjust. Since we take our time, our products consistently get high reviews."

Review…

I was sent a red Sport Headband and 2 red Sport Wristbands from Suddora to review.

Each headband costs $2.99, and each wristband costs $2.49.  You can also buy the set for $6.99.  Shipping is free with orders over $50.

Packaging & Presentation of the Suddora Sweatband Set

The sweatbands arrived to my door in perfect condition.  This didn't surprise me considering they are textiles.  There were no defects nor damage.  All three pieces were shipped in a happy blue mailer, and shipping was fast.  There were three pieces in my package, one headband and two wristbands.  The headband measures 7.0" x 2.0 and the two wristbands 3.0" x 3.5".

Each piece was labeled nicely in the front with a bluish theme, and the cellophane was see-through so you can see exactly what you are getting.  The back of the label listed the materials used and the contact website.  Each piece is made of 80% cotton, 12% spandex, and 8% nylon.

The bands were easy to get out thanks to the easy open packaging.  They are also resealable if you want to store them back in the package.

Each piece had a cardboard insert in it to ensure it held its shape.

My Personal Experience with the Suddora Sweatband Set

I love running.  I may not be a 'gym maniac' or play sports like your next-door superstar, but running is how I stay active.  I feel it is an all-over workout, and boy-- I work up a sweat.  Especially in Georgia where the humidity is downright obnoxious.  It's kind of cold out (in my sister-in-law's words, "It's a friggin' blizzard outside!) so I haven't been able to really work up a super sweat outside.  These bands are really neat, though, and will definitely come in handy during the dog days of the summer.  Plus red is my favorite color.

Of course you know that I have to do a thorough inspection before I test them out-- I must mention that these smell great.  You know how some people like the smell of a library book, gasoline, or freshly cut grass?  Well, I guess 'my' fragrance of choice is brand-new sweatbands.  Strange.  They just smell so new!  So, I flipped them inside out and found the care tag.  It once again lists the materials used during manufacturing, and then it lists care instructions.  Maybe it's just me, but I have NO idea what it's telling me to do.  There is a little iron with an 'x' through it, so I'm guessing not to iron them.  Well, good.  I'm not really known to iron my sweatbands.  The other symbols?  No clue.  I'm assuming you can wash them (not on hot), and dry as normal.

If you look closely, you will see that these are made really well.  They won't fray out on you instantaneously or within a few uses.  With proper care, these'll last you a long time.  Just don't iron them.

Even though it's like 20º out, you know I have to try these on!  These feel great!  They are tight enough to not budge while working out, but they are comfortable enough where I actually want to keep them on.  Plus, I look pretty cool.

You know how it goes-- I try something on, and my 6-year old wants to be a model, too.  He ran and grabbed his football, so I just had to take a picture.  How cute!

Pros of the Suddora Sweatband Set
  • Great color choices!
  • One-size fits all.
  • Super-absorbent.
  • 7-day return policy.
  • Great for teams-- choose your team colors!
  • Special bulk pricing.
Cons of the Suddora Sweatband Set
    • The care directions are terrible.  I have no idea what the symbols are telling me, and the package doesn't offer any description.
          Summary

All-in-all, I'm very happy with this set.  It's unisex, it's awesome, it's durable, and effective.  The packaging looks kind of cheap, but it's really the product that counts.  I love all of the color options (there are tons!).  You know what else is cool?  The more that you buy, the more money you save.  They have special bulk pricing.  They make a lot of products beyond the headbands and wristbands.  Definitely head over to their site and do some searching.  You'll be glad you did!
