Packaging & Presentation of Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts
This bag of bath salt arrived in perfect condition. There were no rips, tears, leaks, nor defects during shipment. The bag is clear, so you can see through it directly to the bath salt. The label is white, and it has teal and navy accents. It measures 8.5" x 4.5"x 3.5" at its widest points.
The front of the package labels the product and brand. It has a description, "Mineral Rich Bath Soak". There is no further information. The back of the bag is completely blank.
The bag has an 'easy-tear' pair of cut-ins, but they don't work so well. I had to end up getting scissors anyway.
I really enjoy my stress-relief baths every now and then. I have a little stockpile of bath items to make it more enjoyable-- bath salts (scented and Epsom), bubble baths, oils, etc. I have used Epsom salt for years, because it really helps relieve my sore muscles. This Adovia bag of bath salts is supposed to do that, and more.
When I first opened the bag, a small amount of 'salt dust' came out, and the fragrance was strong. I had to turn my head, so don't look directly in the package when you open it! It is fragrance-free without additives, but it smells like salt. If you don't know what that smells like, you don't want to. Trust me.
The granules are really small. They actually dissolve really fast. Way faster than Epsom salt! I actually really enjoyed using these in the tub. I wish they had a little bit of a fragrance, but if I mix it with a little lavender bath oil, it works perfectly.
Pros of Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts
- I love the quality of this bath salt. Adovia makes some outstanding products, and this one has not failed me.
- The granules are tiny, so they dissolve really quickly.
- It's made in Israel using actual minerals from the Dead Sea. How awesome is that!?
- Has over 26 minerals formulated into it.
Cons of Adovia Dead Sea Bath Salts
- I wish it had just a little fragrance.
- The package is pretty boring.
Summary
Would I buy this again? Yes. I really like it. It is more enjoyable than the extra-large Epsom salt chunks in a bath. It mixes well with other fragrances, and gives me incredibly soft skin. This is great for aches and pains, or just a stress-relief bath.
