Packaging & Presentation of Zim's Max-Freeze Gel
This tube of pain relief gel arrived to my house in perfect condition. There were no rips, tears, leaks, nor defects during shipment. The tube is pretty cool, and it definitely grabs my attention. It is white with blue and green accents. The tube measures 6.75" x 2.5" at its widest points. There is a lot of information on the tube, so read it carefully.
The front of the tube labels the product and brand. It explains what it is used for, and ingredients and features of the product. There are NO parabens, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, paraffins, DEA, petrolatum, or mineral oil in this product. Also, they do not test on animals!
The back of the tube is informative, too. The drug facts, uses, warnings, directions, storage information, and inactive ingredients are listed here. The company's contact information is printed towards the bottom. This product is made in the USA.
There is a lot number and an expiration date stamped into this tube. The lot number is on the front, and the expiration date is on the back.
The tube has a flip-top cap, and it has a larger (.40") opening for the gel to exit the tube.

My Personal Experience with Zim's Max-Freeze Gel
I was so looking forward to this review! I'm not old, but I do suffer from some pretty terrible back pain. It's mostly upper-back (caused by stress), but sometimes my mid-back aches, too. I've used a lot of things in the past-- Icy Hot, Bengay, Mineral Ice, etc. They all work pretty good, but what I love about this Max-Freeze gel is that it is natural!
First, I want to explain its consistency. It's definitely a gel. It is colorless, but has a strong menthol-like fragrance. Luckily, this vanishes after awhile. It's a very soft gel, and it spreads easily and coats well.
Next, after I squeezed some out of the tube, I put it on my back. It doesn't instantly burn, but it cools, and works its way up to a gentle relief. I'm a person that doesn't mind the menthol fragrance, but if you are-- it goes away. I love how it feels on my back.
Pros of Zim's Max-Freeze Gel
- Totally natural!
- No animal testing.
- The gel is very soft and spreads evenly and coats well.
- The menthol fragrance vanishes.
- Comes in (3) different application methods-- gel, spray, or roll-on.
Cons of Zim's Max-Freeze Gel
- I have found no cons of this gel.
Summary
I was absolutely impressed with the turnout. It's a very comfortable cream that relieves the pain, but it doesn't burn your skin off while it works. It's a decent sized tube-- definitely competitive in relation to the other tubes on the market. I love the fragrance, but I think next time I might get the roll-on. I prefer this brand over any that I have used in the past.
