Packaging & Presentation of Dr Song Medical 20% Salicylic Acid Peel
The bottle arrived wrapped in protective bubble wrap. The front of the bottle labels the brand and subtitles '20% Salicylic Acid'.
The back side of the label lists the peel's ingredients. You can also find the product's warnings, cautions, and distribution information.
This product did not have a safety seal.
There are many different peels available, and the acidic peels are some of the best. I've seen some spas offer them as a service, but they are really expensive. This is my second Dr Song peel, and I was so excited to try it!
After unwrapping the bottle, I found that it was applied using a dropper. Or that's what I thought. In fact, you are supposed to drop a few drops on a facial brush or a cotton ball for application. The dropper is made of glass. so be careful! The actual formula is clear and is easy to work with.
The peel is clear, and there are some bubbles in it. You only leave it on your skin for a minute or so.
What's this peel good for? Everything, really. It can improve fine lines, scars, acne problems, and discolorations. I have some scars on my face from chicken pox that I'm trying to work on, so I'm looking forward to continued use. You are only supposed to use this peel once every 4 weeks since it is really strong.
Pros of Dr Song Medical 20% Salicylic Acid Peel
- The price of this peel is phenomenal. Spa peels can go upwards of $100+.
- The feeling after the peel is great. Clean, refreshed, and pulled tight.
- It's convenient to be able to do this in-home.
- You only can use this once per month, which is better than a peel that is 2x per week.
- Manufactured in an FDA compliant cosmetic laboratory.
Cons of Dr Song Medical 20% Salicylic Acid Peel
- There are no directions that come with this product. You must go online to find out how to use this.
- There is no safety seal on the bottle.
- There is not a warning on the bottle itself that this product causes skin to slightly sting.
- I think it would be awesome if Dr Song Medical included a small, reusable application brush in the box.
Summary
This is definitely a product that you can just feel the quality. Dr Song Medical makes natural based products for your face and teeth, and have been doing it for a long time. I'm looking forward to using this next month, it really works great! Please keep a good moisturizer on hand for after-use. It's a bit of a skin-dryer, but the benefits are definitely worth it! Each bottle contains between 15-20 facial peels (depending on how much you use each time).
Comes with a 365-day, 100% No-Hassle Money Back Guarantee!!! You can return the item even if its empty!
