Packaging & Presentation of the Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter

  

This is the first time that I've ever ordered one of these, so I was happy to see that it was packaged very nicely.  The box was larger enough to ship the product safely.  It measures 14.0" x 6.0" x 5.0" at its widest points.  The box is mainly white, and has red and black accents.  It is a cardboard flip-top.

The front of the box labels the product and brand.  It also features a large picture of the actual opener.  The top of the box has almost the same 'look' as the front.

The right side of the box has a simple 4-step process outline.  The left side of the box is where the features are put into a diagram.  The UPC, model number, and manufacturing information is also located here.

The box is a flip top, and when you open it, everything slides out easily.

Everything is nested neatly inside of a compressed cardboard sleeve.  The wine opener's instructions, warranty information, and aerating wine pourer instructions are located inside their own plastic bag.

My Personal Experience with the Ozeri Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter

I was pretty excited to test this out and review it because it just looks so awesome!  I've used corkscrews galore, but have never tried an electric one!  Another thing that appealed to me was the fact that it came with the foil cutter and the aerating wine pourer, too.

I unpacked everything out of the box, and plugged in the charger.

Next, you have to insert the opener into the charging base and give it an initial 12-hr boost.  When the light blinks red, it is charging.  When it's green-- it's ready!

The instructions are easy-- the 'down' button uncorks the bottle, the 'up' button releases the cork from the opener.

The last few pages of the instruction book provide the actual usage directions.  They are really easy to understand and emulate.

First, I used the foil cutter.  It was really easy, and cut the foil effortlessly.

Next-- the big part!  I couldn't believe how easy it pulled the cork out.  When I was done, I pressed the 'up' button, and it spit the cork right out.

Lastly, I put the aerating pourer in the bottle, and poured the wine right through.  I didn't notice a difference here, but it made the process look pretty fancy.

Summary

I really like this!  I don't drink much, but when I do-- it's wine.  So, this is a nice little appliance to have around when I need it.  It also makes an excellent gift for the people in your life that love wine!
