Review…

I was sent Project Life Happiness Is and Project Life Love Story from Stampin' Up to review.
The prices kind of vary, because you order what you want.  But all of the components are listed on their website that you can select from.

Packaging & Presentation of Project Life -- Happiness Is & Love Story

These shipped very nicely and are packed extremely well.  Each piece of the kit comes labeled, well-wrapped, and pieced together.  Project Life Love Story is on the left, and Project Life Happiness Is is on the right.

I received the black Faux Leather 12.0" x 12.0" album to place my pages in.  This album is extremely nice and well-made. 'Project Life by Stampin' Up' is stamped on the inside of the back cover of the album.

There are nice corner pieces on the album, too.  I also received a variety pack of the photo pocket pages.

I received a card collection for each project.  These are really nice, and the covers can be reused over and over again.

Each box is labeled, too!

My Personal Experience with Project Life -- Happiness Is & Love Story

I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to start these albums.  It's been a long time since I've even considered scrapbooking, so when I received this opportunity, I was looking forward to them!  I haven't finished my albums yet, but these aren't something you want to finish in an hour.  I like to put some thought into it, and have it as a running project.  For this review, I did a little bit of each so you get a pretty good idea.

Beginning with Project Life Happiness Is, I emptied out all of the contents of the card and accessory pack.  There are so many things to choose from!

I went through a few of my things, and found some important pieces that I would like to add to the project.  It's a little bit of everything.

I added a picture of my son, and a post card from the zoo.

I used the foam letters to add a word to my flower message when I was in the hospital with my second-born.

I used the included washi tape to stick a few things to the cards.

Next, I laid out everything for Project Life Love Story.

Right off the bat, I saw a total difference in style.  They are both wonderful for two completely different albums.  This is definitely sweet and romantic.

I began with a few tickets from a few of our dates early into our relationship.

We lived in California for a while, so I thought it would be cute to include a little piece of our first times in the city together.

We visited Hollywood, and did some touristy stuff, and I made a cute little calender of our wedding date.  I didn't add any pictures yet because we didn't have a 'wedding', but we went to the JoP, so I'm going to add a few of those documents and pictures.

Pros of Project Life -- Happiness Is & Love Story
  • SO awesome.  I love everything about this.
  • Excellent top-of-the-line quality.
  • Fun as an ongoing project.
  • Way easier than conventional scrapbooking.
  • All pieces are included!
Cons of Project Life -- Happiness Is & Love Story
  • I haven't found any cons of Project Life.
Summary

I love, love, love this!  It's incredibly fun, and you can share it with other members of your family, friends, etc.  It's a work in progress, and you can obviously see that it isn't near completion.  But I like that I can add the earlier stuff near the front, and keep it as time goes by with adding new stuff.  I definitely recommend checking this out.  This is a great way for people to start scrapbooking albums when you lack the time or ability.
