I was sent an Amber teething necklace from Powell's Owls to review.

Packaging & Presentation of the Baltic Amber Teething Necklace

  

This package arrived safely to my doorstep.  There were no rips, tears, defects, nor issues during shipment.  I received a bag from the company, and when I looked closer, I found that there were two necklaces in there!  The Amber one of course, and then a second teething pendant for me to wear!  Both were packaged very nicely and securely.

The actual Amber teething necklace came in a little see-through mesh bag that was tied on top.  It says "Pure Amber" on the front.

The necklace measures 12.0", and that's the standard size.  You can also order a larger size, too.  The colors are lovely and neutral.  Each necklace is handmade in Lithuania.

The closure is screw-on, so it's easy to put on and take off of your baby.

My Personal Experience with the Baltic Amber Teething Necklace

All of you parents out there-- I know how bad the whole 'teething' thing is.  I'm currently going through it, and have been for seven months now.  It's absolutely horrible.  Long nights.  Long days.  Drool.  More drool.  Even more drool.  I was looking forward to trying this necklace, because it is supposed to help your baby with the pain of teething.  It's supposed to soothe them, to keep them comforted.  Amber has those properties, so I was excited to try it.

My daughter absolutely loves it.  She's such a little diva!

I, on the other hand, just love the bonus teething pendant!  It's easy to carry around and is a great distraction when you are sitting somewhere and need your baby to be occupied for a bit.

Summary

I'm pretty much at the stage where I'd do anything to try to get through this teething.  When I first got this, I didn't like the fact that I had to put it around my baby's neck.  However, I also realized that she's with me all day, so I never take my eyes off of her.  Plus, she just adores it.  She looks at it for about two seconds, then forgets about it.
