Packaging & Presentation of Ev'amay Skin Care Retinol Complex with Vitamin C
I am happy to say that this product itself arrived in great condition. The box? Not so much. The box is purple and gold. However, there were lots of dents, creases, and stickiness on the box. It measures 5.0" x 1.5" x 1.5" at its widest points.
The front of the box labels the product, brand, and sizing information. The back of the box provides the directions, cautionary statements, manufacturer information, storage instructions, and contact information.
The right side of the box explains all about the product in detail. The left side of the box details more about retinol in general. This product doesn't test, nor contain animal products.
The top of the box provides the same information as the front of the box. The bottom of the box is where you'll find the list of ingredients and the UPC.
The box opens up from the top, with a flip-top box.
Inside, the tube and a pamphlet come out.
The bottle is so pretty and unlike any other.
The bottle provides the same information as the box.
The lot number is printed on the bottom of the bottle.
This product uses a pump dispenser for its application method.
I knew that I wanted to try this just by how the bottle looks. First impressions are everything, right? It looks fancy, but the important thing is that it needs to work.
This is the first textured retinol serum that I've used. It is almost like a lotion, but a bit runnier. It absorbs so fast, and it makes your skin radiant as it works. It has a very strong herbal fragrance. It is cream in color.
Pros of Ev'amay Skin Care Retinol Complex with Vitamin C
- The bottle looks classy.
- The retinol cream is made with quality ingredients.
- Retinol AND Vitamin C combined!
- Use in conjunction with SPF, and provides anti-aging properties!
- Sealed inside of a lightproof container so the retinol isn't exposed to light.
Cons of Ev'amay Skin Care Retinol Complex with Vitamin C
- The box was in pretty bad shape when I received it.
Summary
This is definitely a wonderful base. I wash and dry my face, and then apply this before anything else. It dries quickly, and it almost tingles so you know when it starts to work. I use this alongside a hyaluronic acid serum. I'm sure you guys know by now that retinol is very harsh to me, so I can't use this everyday, but I find that using it a few times a week has been very beneficial.
