My Review of Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Lightweight pampering formula containing unique cocktail of fruit extracts and rich in Ellagic acid, an antioxidant found in raspberries, strawberries and cranberries, protects against ultraviolet damage by blocking production of matrix metalloproteinase enzymes that break down collagen.  Spirulina, Cucumber and Sea Kelp deliver continuous hydration and keep your skin supple and fresh.  Watermelon, rich in Vitamin C and naturally occurring carbohydrates and amino acids supports the UV-stressed immune system of the skin and can be used to prevent photo-aging.  This extract also helps to protect the skin from every day toxins and promotes cell-renewal.  Silk Amino Acids (18 types) and Co Q10 enzyme aid in moisture loss, cellular renewal and collagen production as well as support cell energy giving you silky velvet, smooth glowing skin.  Reishi mushroom carries Asiatic Acid to the cells for damage restoration, fading of sun spots and damage, wrinkle reduction, and boosting of cellular hydration."

Review…

I was sent a 2.0 fl oz bottle of the Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme from Sweetsation Therapy to review.

The price for this bottle is $24.00, plus shipping.

Packaging & Presentation of Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme

The bottle stands a little over 3.75" tall.  It is 1.75" at its base.  It was shipped in perfect condition with absolutely no defects.  The bottle itself is very pretty, the label displays a nice pink to green gradation.  It was shipped nicely in tissue paper for added protection.

The front of the bottle labels the brand and the product.  It also lists the main ingredients-- Cucumber & Co Q10.

The safety seal covers the entire bottle, and it has an 'easy tear' perforated strip.

The ingredients list is located on the right side of the label.

On the left side of the label is where you can find out a little more about the product, the usage directions, warnings, cautions, and manufacturing information.

This bottle uses a pump in order to dispense the serum.  The cap has a fancy chrome ring around the bottom.  There is also a plug in the opening to keep the product from clogging or crusting over.

The expiration date is printed on a label located on the bottom of the bottle.

My Personal Experience with Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme

I've tried a few products from this line, and let me tell you-- I love them!  I'm really big into skin care, so this was an exciting new product to try.

The way I use a day cream is almost like that of a moisturizer and a lotion put together.  I also don't just use it on my face.  I tend to use it on my forearms and my chest.  This give you an instant luminous glow without being greasy or sticky.

It's a very silky lotion.  It absorbs very easily. I'm telling you, this instantly makes a difference.  You can use this at any time, but I like to keep it around me, because I've found myself using it about 4 times per day (at random times).  It feels so nice!

Pros of Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme
  • Works great!  Instantaneously brightens your skin.
  • Contains super awesome ingredients.
  • The bottle is really attractive.
  • Doesn't make your skin greasy after use.
  • Contains organic ingredients and is not tested on animals.

Cons of Q*Lumiere Organic Day Creme
    • The writing on the labels is really tiny.
          Summary

I love, love, love this formula.  What surprises me is that it is organic, too.  I love the idea of organic products, but I've found that they don't always work better.  This is the exception.  This works better than my L'Occitane Day Cream that I paid $50 for.  I reach for this so much more.  I highly recommend it!
