My Personal Review

After reading the first part of the series (The Shift), I couldn't wait to read this second book.  Just like the first, this one is written very well, and really extends the story.  Each piece of this story is incredibly detailed, and at times I felt like I was inside the story myself.  (That's what I like about reading-- a little vacation in my house!).

I was excited to see Sarah's abilities flourish in this book, but the first section I find out she lost everything that she had, and she's pretty upset about it.  Locked in a house (and basically banned from leaving), Sarah starts giving attitude and frankly-- Ramsey is sick of it!

Unfortunately, Sarah comes into contact with the 'bad guy', and from that point forward, there was this 'ominous' feeling hanging around.  This story unfolded in a manner that I was not expecting, and the plot thickens and gets exciting, suspenseful, and exhilarating all together in a twisted knot.

I can't wait for Part 3, these stories are a lot different than what I normally find myself reading, but through these books I have found that I love this genre!
