My Review of Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"An all-natural carrier oil that absorbs quickly and completely into the skin. It is 100% pure, therapeutic grade oil, well suited for troubled skin. It is feather light and leaves skin feeling silky smooth, and won't clog pores like other vegetable oils. Can be used to dilute ALL essential oils, is totally clear, unscented, and won't stain fabrics or skin."

My Personal Experience with Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil

I've been using coconut oil for a long time now.  To me, there are so many reasons to use it-- the possibilities are endless!  I usually use it for cooking, but it's great for skin, massaging, and a carrier for your essential oils.

First, fractionated coconut oil is a liquid.  I don't know if you are familiar with the other kind of coconut oil, but it's mostly a solid.  Here's the difference.  The solid coconut oil is on top, and the fractionated oil is on the bottom.

It feels really nice on my skin.  It's not greasy, and it actually absorbs nicely.

The bottle easily pours from the top.

Pros of Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil

  • No fragrance, and no taste.
  • Easy to pour.
  • Has plenty of uses, and cost effective.
  • Does not leave a greasy residue.
Cons of Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil
        • I haven't found any cons of this oil.
              Summary

This is definitely a high-quality oil that has a multitude of uses.  I use a lot of essential oils, so this is the best carrier for those.  I've never used coconut oil as a massaging medium, but this oil is the perfect consistency for it.  What I really enjoy it for is using it in recipes, and oil-pulling.  It's really easy to measure, and it stores perfectly.

I like that this is scent free. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the smell of coconuts, but when it comes to my skin care products, I like for them to be scent free. Otherwise, all of the scents end up competing and end up not smelling too pleasant in the end, LOL.
