..::Product Review::.. Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer

My Review of Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer (100% USDA Organic)

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Our organic moisturize is always comprised of only 100% USDA Certified Organic ingredients, every single ingredient being sourced from a USDA Certified organic farm. Non-GMO, non-toxic, without exposure to pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones or synthetic fertilizers. Our formula is extremely potent, making it the most effective. It's not diluted and doesn't contain "filler" ingredients. Only pure, raw, food grade, unrefined and unprocessed vegan plant-based ingredients are used for optimal vitamin content."

Review…

I was sent a 2.0 oz jar of the Ultra Hydrating Facial Moisturizer from Nouveau/Organica to review.

This jar costs $27.95, and shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer

This jar of moisturizer arrived to my door in perfect condition.  It was shipped in protective bubble wrap.  The jar is a dark brown with black and white accents.  It is approximately 2.0" x 2.0" at its widest points.  It has a black screw on cap.

There is a little tag attached to the jar, and it is a 'thank you' card.  It also links to an organic skin care manual.

The front of the jar labels the product, brand, sizing information, and a few product details:

+ 100% Organic + All Natural
+ Vegan
+ Gluten-free
+ Soy-free
+ Dairy-free
+ Cruelty-free

The right side of the label outlines usage directions, and provides a list of ingredients.  The left side of the label explains that since it is an organic product, it can soften pretty easily.  So, just stick it in the fridge for about an hour for it to solidify. This moisturizer is good for 6 months, and it is made in the USA.

My Personal Experience with Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer

I have tried a lot of organic and vegan products, but this is my first time trying a moisturizer as such.  I was really looking forward to trying it out!  As soon as I opened it, I found the jar was filled with an almost-putty consistency moisturizer.

The moisturizer comes out very easily, and it almost has a nutty sort of fragrance.  There are no artificial fragrances or chemicals in this, so it's breath of fresh air.  It's cream colored, and it absorbs SUPER quickly.

I have been using it for everything.  It has a variety of uses since it is super moisturizing.  I find that a little bit goes an extremely long way.  If you put a small piece in your palm and let it melt, you get a very soft cream to work with.  When it melts, it almost applies like an ointment.

Pros of Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer
  • Great fragrance!  I'm happy with the way it smells.
  • It isn't runny.  It stays in place where you put it.
  • Can be used both day and night.
  • 100% organic and all-natural!

Cons of Nouveau/Organica Ultra Hydrating Face Moisturizer
  • This can feel a bit greasy, so if you have very oily skin, it might not work for you.
        Summary

This is probably the most interesting moisturizer that I have used.  If you have read this entire post, you probably noticed that I said the word almost quite a bit.  I say this because this has so many unique properties that I cannot really compare it to anything that I have used previously.  This is just an overall super hydrating moisturizer that is good for your skin, good for your kids, and just an amazing formulation.
