I was sent the 10-serving 15g packet from Vacay Beverages to review.  

A 10-serving pack of Vacay Island Lemonade is $4.99, but you can get a better deal by buying the 60-serving envelope for $27.99.

Packaging & Presentation

Vacay arrived in a standard sized envelope, right to my mailbox.  

Taking it out of the envelope, the package did catch my eye.  The packet pictures a refreshing island and lays out what the product does.  This is important to know, of course!  Also, the flavor was printed clearly on front.  The package is resealable, so you don't lose any of the powder.  It is also easy to store for the next time you want to drink some. It was also a 'tear here' type of opening, so that was easy!

The back of the envelope is your standard Supplement Facts, outlining the ingredients used in this product.  There are also very simple instructions on how to use it.

My Personal Experience with Vacay Water Enhancer

I'll admit it.  I've been told to 'chill' quite a few times in my life.  When I was offered the opportunity to review this, I pretty much jumped on it!  

This is made to help people 'chill'. I made sure I took it on a super stressful day.  Let's see how it worked.

First, I had to set it all up, because I didn't want to mess up.  I got a cup of water (8 oz), a 1/2 teaspoon, and a glass.

Next, I mixed in 1/2 teaspoon of the Vacay into my 8 oz of water.  This was a little tricky, I recommend stirring it in slow, or it clumps up, and it makes it harder to dissolve.

Finally, I poured it in the glass, and was ready to drink!

After that, I sipped it to get a good taste of the flavor.  It definitely tasted like lemonade.  There was also another taste there, but I can't place it. I'm sure it was some of the herbs that it was made with.  It was not bad, though.

So, the big question.  Did it work?  In short, yes. I took it at 9 pm, knowing that I was going to bed at 11.  I had no idea what was supposed to happen, but around 35-40 minutes after ingesting, I began to feel relaxed.  I was able to read my book without having so much stress on my mind that I reread the same lines over and over again.  It was also easy to fall asleep when I was ready, and not having to beg my brain to turn off.

• This product is priced perfectly.  At $0.50/serving, it is one of the cheapest drinks you will find that actually does work.

Cons of the Vacay Water Enhancer

• Flavor options.  Some people do not like lemonade.  By introducing new flavors, Vacay Beverages will increase its customer base.

• For maximum effects, you are to take Vacay 2-3 times per day which can be a little overwhelming if you are at a job where you do not have that ability.

• Mixing the powder in the water takes a while. If you do it fast, it clumps.

Summary

As a high stress person, I am proud to say that Vacay did let me have some relaxation during the evening without giving into running thoughts.  It was fairly easy to prepare, and pretty delicious. Also keep in mind that it is affordable. I would recommend this, and I would purchase again.
