I was sent an 8 fl oz jar of the Argan Oil Hair Mask from Instanatural to review.  

On Amazon, this hair mask is priced at $17.95 with free shipping with Amazon Prime, and on their website it is $19.95, so you are better off ordering from Amazon.

Packaging & Presentation

This product is in a large plastic jar that has a screw-on lid. The packaging is pretty bland, there is nothing super exciting about it.

On one 'side' of the jar, we have the ingredients.  I want to point out the amount of organic ingredients.  That's what I like to see in a product!  The best ingredients in here are the following:  argan oil, amino acid complex, coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin B5.

Lastly, on the other 'side' are the directions. They are simple enough to understand.  You towel dry your hair.  Apply mask.  Leave in 5-15 minutes.  Rinse out.  1x or 2x per week.  Simple.

My Personal Experience with Instanatural Argan Oil Hair Mask

I wanted to get the real effect of this product, so I used my husband, Trey, as a guinea pig.  He loves getting his hair washed, so he was fast to agree to testing it out.

First, I washed and dried his hair (with a towel) normally. Using his normal everyday shampoo.

Next, I applied it.  It's pretty thick stuff, so you have to work it in to make sure you get thorough coverage.  Ensure you use a generous amount, don't be scared to use it.

Now, the easy part.  We decided to leave it in for the full 15 minutes.  Here is how it looked after waiting.  It looks the same as the before picture, although it turned into the consistency of a pomade after 15 minutes.

After rinsing it out, we are left with the final product--  I wish you could reach into the picture and feel how soft his hair turned out. I was pretty impressed with the result.

Pros of the Instanatural Argan Oil Hair Mask

• It really leaves your hair feeling soft and manageable.  

• Made from a lot of organic ingredients and it's not tested on animals.

• You are able to use it as a standard daily conditioner if you wish to do so.

Cons of the Instanatural Argan Oil Hair Mask

• I did not like the smell, but my husband loved it!  It smells kind of like vanilla, and is sweet smelling.  So, if you like vanilla, you'll love it.

• You have to use a lot for full coverage.  

Summary

I can say that not only me, but my husband really enjoyed this review!  It was a simple product that really works.  This would be great for hydrating long hair once a week.
