..::Review + Giveaway::.. Quick Care Scent Bombs (Concentrated Air Freshener)

My Review of Quick Care's Scent Bombs

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Scent Bomb air fresheners are the real thing! This is not your typical diluted air freshener that smells weak and fades out in a day. Scent Bomb is powerful 100% oil based air freshener that will give you a long lasting smell! Just a couple sprays on the floor mats of your car or in the bathroom trash can keeps it fresh for days. You do not have to keep spraying over and over. Try it and see that one spray will blow you away! "

Review…

I was sent (7) 1 fl oz bottles of Scent Bomb Concentrated Air Freshener from Quick Care to review.
The price for a 1 fl oz Scent Bomb is $4.99, and shipping varies with area code, but it is approximately around $3.99.

There are SO many scents to choose from, too.

Packaging & Presentation of Quick Care's Scent Bombs

After opening the box, I found each Scent Bomb bottle to be seperately rolled in a protective cover.  The bottles are a beautiful blue glass.  They shipped well like this, and I had no problem with any breaking.

After unwrapping, a little spray bottle is exposed.  It looks clean and enticing (I really just wanted to spray it before checking anything else out!).  The bottles stood up just fine, and were not wobbly.

Each bottle has its own foil, color-coded label.  Everything matches, and it looks pretty fancy!

The labels also featured a warning section as well as usage directions and company contact information.

Next, I think it's important to talk about the bottle mechanics.  This particular air freshener uses a spray-mist application method, and the top screws securely onto the bottle and does not leak.  The sprayer also has a protective top.  What I really like is that the internal tube straw is really long so you do not waste any fragrance.

Lastly, I'd like to provide a size comparison to the 1 fl oz bottle.  Keep in mind that you only have to spray once or twice, so this bottle will last awhile!

My Personal Experience with Quick Care's Scent Bombs

Fragrance, fragrance, fragrance.  It is one of my most favorite things in the entire world!  When I found out I was able to review Scent Bombs, I was so happy!

After I examined the packaging, I pretty much sprayed this on everything. I'm not really sure what my house smelled like in particular afterward, but it was pretty much a mod-podge of awesome fragrance.

I was provided with a note from Quick Care stating that this product is made using oil, so be careful what you spray it on.

So.  I laid them out and had to pick which one goes in my car, in the living room, laundry room, etc.  It was pretty difficult.

I was addicted to the Mulberry Scent Bomb as soon as I opened it, so I put it in my car and tested it out.  I sprayed the Mulberry on the driver's and passenger's side floor mats and closed my car doors.  In about 10 minutes, I checked back, and it was glorious.  The fragrance is strong, so you probably do not need to use as much as I did unless you like ultra-concentrated fragrance.  I'm not kidding, that one-time spray lasted (2) days.  It was super strong the first day, and the second day it was still noticeable, but more of a pleasant 'drift' here and there.  Needless to say, Mulberry has found a home in my car door.

Next, the laundry room area.  I think I'm going to be predictable and use the Clean Cotton Scent Bomb.

Finally, I figured I'd actually follow the directions, "Spray product onto cotton ball or paper, and place in area to be freshened."  With that being said, I sprayed the Black Cherry Scent Bomb on a cotton ball and placed it behind my computer.

Pros of Quick Care's Scent Bombs
  • Crazy strong, concentrated fragrance.  A little goes a long way.
  • The actual product container is quality.  It's even nice to keep out and display, and small enough to be inconspicuous for those of you that do not like to put it on display.
  • Inexpensive.  A 1 fl oz bottle (that will last a long time) is only $4.99.
  • Scent Bombs can be used anywhere-- bathrooms, garages, cars, laundry area, inside cabinets, in garbage cans, etc.
  • The fragrances are true-to-scent.
  • The fragrance lasts a long time (in my experience around 35 hours).
  • The little internal tube straw is long enough where you do not waste product.
  • Super portable.  You can keep one in your bag 'just in case'.

Cons of Quick Care's Scent Bombs
  • This is an oily spray, so you have to be careful that you do not spray it on something that could negatively react with the oily ingredients.
  • I think it would be awesome if Quick Care made little 'pre-made kits' where you can purchase a set of (3) themed fragrances.  For example, the 'Fresh & Clean' kit featuring Clean Cotton, Lemongrass, and Citrus Blast; the 'Relaxation' kit featuring Lavender, Rain, and Sandalwood; or even a 'Men Only' kit featuring Black Ice, Armani Code, and Polo Black.  This is not a con, but merely a suggestion.
        Summary

I most definitely recommend Quick Care's Scent Bombs.  You can purchase them in this smaller 1 fl oz size, a 2 fl oz side, or in pouch form.  These would make outstanding and inexpensive Christmas gifts.  Quick Care makes quality products, and I highly, highly recommend ordering your next fragrance purchase from them.
