I was sent a 7 oz resealable bag of Organic Ground Turmeric from Jiva Organics to review.

Packaging & Presentation of Jiva Organics Ground Turmeric

  

This bag was sent to me, and I received it in perfect condition.  The bag measures almost 7" tall and approximately 3.5" across.  The bag is a light tan color, and there is a window where you can actually see the product up close.

The front of the bag has the name of the product stamped on the window, a USDA Organic stamp, and a weight sticker.

The back of the back talks a little bit about Jiva Organics, allergen information, marketing and distribution information, and nutrition facts.

The expiration date is printed on a sticker along with the batch number.

The nutrition facts are also printed on a separate sticker and placed on the bag.

The package itself is resealable once opened.

My Personal Experience with Jiva Organics Ground Turmeric

I love turmeric.  It's not an overly powerful spice, and you can sprinkle it on anything for a tiny flavor kick.

Not to mention the absolutely amazing properties of the spice.

It is an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and contains curcuminoids.

The first thing I did was cut the top off!  I wanted to open this as soon as possible!

Here is what it looks like when opened.  Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its color.

It's a really fine powder, and it is the color of yellow mustard.

But you can sprinkle it on anything!  The taste is so mellow that you can barely taste it when mixed in.  The benefits of turmeric are so excellent that it is worth putting it in as much stuff as you can!  Give a nice sprinkle on top of pizza like I did!
