"Our trees bask in the long, sunny summer days where the ageless olive trees store the sun's energy in their olives as oil. Every fall as our koroneiki olives ripen, we harvest and extract their oil without the use of heat or chemicals. This ensures that our oil retains all of the essential antioxidants, polyphenols and micronutrients that are the reason olive oil has nurtured the body and soul throughout humanity. Unadulterated and never blended, from tree to bottle our family personally ensures that what you receive is only olive oil in it's purest form and FLAVOR!"

Packaging & Presentation of Pylian Estates Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This bottle of Olive Oil made it to my door in absolute perfect condition. This 750 ml bottle stands a little over 13" tall and is 2.75" wide at the base. The bottle is a beautiful olive glass with a white label. It looks very sophisticated. You can see through the bottle. There were no leaks or defects to the product.
The bottle was packed inside of a box, inside of a fitted container to keep it from rolling and breaking.
The inside crate opens like a book, and inside you'll find your Olive Oil snugly nested inside.
This bottle was sealed with some heavy foil, and it has an easy pull tab so you can take off the seal.
I thought a cork was going to be revealed, but instead there was a wooden cap that opened to an easy-pour top. This lid reseals easily for storage.
Olive oil has been a staple in my house for years now. I use it in almost everything. I've actually never tried a bottle that was over $10, so this was a first for me. I had no idea there was this big of a difference! It was amazing!
The first thing I did was pour a little into a bowl to examine the consistency, the color, and the fragrance. It didn't smell like anything, it was very light. The color was beautiful; it was a very light, clear yellow. It was the perfect consistency.
Next, I prepared a little platter with the Olive Oil as the main focus.
My husband was just dying to try this, so he got first dibs. He dipped it in the Olive Oil...
...took a bite...
...and loved it!
He ate almost the entire plate!

To sum everything up, this is delicious. It is delicious and amazing! The bottle is extremely fancy, and the product just blows my mind away. It is really flavorful, and has so many uses besides being a base in recipes. I don't think I can ever go back to my cheap-o Olive Oils. This is definitely something that I'd like to stick with!

I have enjoyed the extra version Olive Oil from Pylian Estates for over 8 years. I usually stop for breakfast/lunch when I am in the Chicago area and pick up some bottles at their restaurant.
Last time I was running low, my friend picked some up for me and I met her at the Allegan Fair. It is good enough to go through all that trouble!
With the winter weather here in Michigan making travel more difficult, I might have to have order some sent as I am running low again.
