I was sent a half-size baking mat from BakeitFun to review.

Packaging & Presentation of the BakeitFun Baking Mat

  

The baking mat arrived safely to my door.  It came in a red box with white accents.  The box itself measures 12" x 1.75".  Inside, the baking mat is rolled up.  This silicone mat (when laid out) measures 11" x 16.5".  This means it fits nicely into a 13" x 18" pan.

The box is sealed with plastic wrap.  I suggest using scissors to open it.  The box itself opened easily, and the mat was easy to get out.

There were not any directions in the box, but the box has everything printed on the outside, so don't throw it away.  The first side of the box labels the product and brand.  It states the size, that it's FDA approved, and BPA free.  The back of the box is where you can find the sizing information and what to do when it's your first use.

The first red side is where the directions for use are located.  On the other side, you will find the cleaning and storage instructions.  There are a few cautions, contact information, and certification location information.

My Personal Experience with the BakeitFun Baking Mat

I've heard so many good things about these silicone baking mats, and was excited to try one myself!  I decided to make one of my favorite cookies-- the Raspberry Thumbprint cookie.

The first thing I did was take the mat out of the box and wash it down with some soapy water.  I placed it on my pan, and it fit perfectly and laid down flat.  There are spots for 12 cookies, and an on-mat ruler system.  I just love the color!

I love that the circles dictate the size of a cookie.  It was so easy to make all of my cookies the same size by using this guide.

Look at my beautiful thumbprint cookies!  They did not stick, they baked perfectly, and this mat has been absolutely amazing all the way through.

• All of my cookies came out in good shape.  They cooked all the way through.

• Can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher.

• I have not found any cons of this product.

Summary

I am so, so, so happy that I was able to try this baking mat.  Everything about it went beyond my expectations.  I haven't baked Thumbprint cookies in years, and this mat by BakeitFun really, really made them into perfect little cookies.
