I was sent the PSS-60 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker from Liztek to review.

Packaging & Presentation of the Liztek Ultra-Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

  

The speaker arrived to me without any packaging defects.  Everything seemed to be intact upon opening.  The box itself is pretty heavy duty.  It is a black flip-top box that measures 7.25" x a little over 3.0".  

The front and the back of the box both label the product and brand, and features a large picture of the speaker.  One picture is vertical, the other horizontal.

The right side of the box lists the devices that this speaker is compatible with:  smart phones, tablets, portable gaming consoles, mp3/mp4 players, laptops, desktops (pretty much everything!).  The left side lists the product features and specifications.

I opened the top of the box, and pulled everything out.  The speaker is nested in a plastic holder, and there is a USB/Micro cord along with a set of instructions.

My Personal Experience with the Liztek Ultra-Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Music is awesome, and I love listening to it.  Especially at quite a loud volume.  I blast it in my car, in my house, while I'm in the shower, pretty much everywhere!  I spend a lot of time outside on my patio, and a bluetooth speaker is absolutely perfect for bringing the music outside.  I couldn't wait to try this baby out!

I took everything out of the plastic and looked it over.  I read the instruction manual.  I was happy it came with one; some products don't and it drives me nuts.  It's a pretty short manual, but it's very thorough.

A quick tour of the speaker:  there are the buttons on top-- a mode button that allows you to switch between using your bluetooth and playing the radio (awesome feature, by the way!).  There is a volume down button (pfft...who needs that?), a volume up button, and a play/pause/talk button.  You can find more detailed information about these in the manual.  Pretty self-explanatory, though.

The back of the speaker features your on/off switch, audio-in jack, a slot for a USB flash drive, USB charging port, FM antenna, and an SD card port.

The battery is already inserted for you.  You can charge it by using the included USB cord.  You can use the speaker while it is charging.  It has about 6 hours of playtime before you need to charge it.

The bottom has little pads on it that keep it from sliding off of whatever surface you put it on.

It was really easy to pair.  All you have to do is enable Bluetooth on your device, and wait until the Liztek PSS-60 pops up.  Click on it, and you are ready to go!  When you turn the speaker on, it automatically connects if you are on Bluetooth.  Make sure you make your device Bluetooth visible before trying to connect.

You are ready to play music!  It is loud and awesome.  Did I mention the clarity?  Oh em gee.  This speaker has 2 passive subwoofers for that added bass.  Another awesome feature is that you can actually answer calls from the speaker.  When your phone rings, hit the TALK button, and it'll answer.  Don't want to answer?  Hold the TALK button for 2 seconds.

Cons of the Liztek Ultra-Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

• The buttons Skip Fwd, Skip Bwd, Play/Pause only work with your device's default music player.  For example, you can't use these buttons if you are playing YouTube, Pandora, or iHeartRadio music.  

Summary


This is hands down one of the best portable speakers that I have ever used.  The clarity (even when you crank the volume way up) is amazing.  The range is really nice, you can actually walk away from the speaker without it going haywire.  This is also a quality-made product.  It's definitely not going to fall apart on you.  I really like all the additional features, too.  I've never known a bluetooth portable speaker that answers/ends/ignores your calls for you.  I love it!
