Review…

I was sent a 22 oz tin of the Gluten-Free Waffle & Pancake Mix from Nicole's Naturals to review.

This tin costs $8.99.  Shipping is free with Amazon Prime.

Packaging & Presentation of Nicole's Naturals Gluten-Free Waffle & Pancake Mix

Everything arrived in great condition.  There were no dents, defects, nor issues during shipment.  The tin is black, and features red, gold, and white accents.  The tin measures 6.0" x 4.5" x 2.5".  It was shipped in protective bubble wrap.

The front of the tin labels the product and brand.  It says it contains no preservatives, is gluten-free, wheat-free, and soy-free.  The back of the tin provides the recipe to make waffles, the nutrition facts, ingredients, contact information, and UPC.

There is a label on the bottom, it looks like it probably is the lot number.  I have not found an expiration date on the product itself.

There is a safety seal wrapped around the lid where it connects to the tin's body.  There is not a perforated strip, so I recommend using scissors to cut it away.

When I opened the tin, I found the actual mix packaged inside of another bag inside the tin.  It's more of a 'tan' color, and man, did it smell great!

My Personal Experience with Nicole's Naturals Gluten-Free Waffle & Pancake Mix

I love pancakes and waffles.  I think I like waffles just a bit more, though.  In fact, I have one of those Belgian Waffle makers because they are that good to me!  It's a quick and easy way to make premium waffles for dinner, breakfast, or just a snack.  Since this mix makes pancakes or waffles, I picked the waffles. Of course.  I grabbed the ingredients (which isn't many!):  milk, eggs, butter, and the mix!

Before I started, I noticed the recipe on the back incorporates the entire box of mix.  I didn't want to use it all, so I just halved the recipe.  First things first, I added 11 oz of the mix into a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, I beat an egg and melted the butter in the microwave.

I added the egg and melted butter to the mix.

Then... I mixed it with a whisk until it got nice and crumbly.

I slowly added 3/4 cup of whole milk, but in order to get it to be the consistency I liked, I had to add another small splash of the milk.

Don't forget to spray your waffle iron with non-stick spray.  I forgot to do that before-- and well, my waffle didn't come out that great.

Finally, take your mix and slowly add it to your waffle iron.  It should cover all of the gaps.

In about 5-7 minutes, you'll have a beautiful waffle!

Add your toppings of choice, but since these already have such a great flavor, I just sprinkled a tiny bit of powdered sugar on top.

              Summary

Guys-- wow.  Just wow.  First, I'd like to say that I'm not on a gluten-free diet, but I will definitely use the products if they are within my price range.  When I was given the opportunity to review this mix, I didn't know what to expect.  I decided to try them out for dinner one night, and I was IMPRESSED.  They cook great, smell great, and they taste like a million bucks.  At only 150 calories per serving, you can't go wrong.  Unfortunately, they do not sell this brand in stores.  You can only get it online through their website or from Amazon.  But trust me-- it's worth it.  I'm going to buy this a lot more.  I really, really enjoyed them, as did my whole family! Oh! You can also make these ahead of time, freeze them, and then pop one in the toaster when you want one!
