..::Product Review::.. Lens Circle's Circle Contact Lenses

My Review of the Circle Contact Lenses

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"Circle Lenses are special extra-wide cosmetic contact lenses which make the eye appear larger. Circle lenses are different from normal color contact lenses because normal color lenses are only tinted in the areas that cover the eyes iris, while circle lenses have an extra dark colored tint around the outer ring of the lens (The outer ring is transparent in normal color lenses)."

Review…

I was sent the Starmish black circle contact lens kit from Lens Circle to review.

The price for this pair of lenses is $34.95.  Shipping is $4.50.

Packaging & Presentation of
the Circle Contact Lenses

This contact lens kit arrived safely.  There were no leaks, defects, nor issues during shipment. It's always a good first impression when the packaging is adorable to begin with!  The kit was shipped inside of a leopard bag with drawstrings.

Inside the bag, the kit was wrapped in protective bubble wrap.

Everything was in perfect condition.  I received the care card, instructions, lens case, and both right and left prescription lenses in the Starmish black style.

You can get these with or without a prescription.

The lenses come in little glass bottles.  Each bottle has an authenticity sticker on it.  I'd suggest reading these bottles because a lot of important information is labeled.  For instance, you can find the expiration date, the contact information, the diameter, etc.  These lenses have been cleared by the FDA.  They are also sterile inside of the bottle.

My Personal Experience with the Circle Contact Lenses

I love that I was able to get these, because a lot of these 'fun' type of lenses do not have the option to have a prescription. When I found out that I was able to, I was really excited.  To me, I figured that there wasn't a point in wearing stylish lenses if I had to wear glasses that cover them up! Not anymore.

The bottles can be a little tricky to open.  When you flip the lid, it should peel back some of the aluminum.  This only happened for one of mine.  The other was a nightmare trying to open.  After you get the aluminum off, simply pop open the rubber top!

Dump each lens in the lens case.  If you have prescription lenses, be sure to make sure which is which.

I've been loving these.  Of course they look way better with makeup, but I wasn't in the mood to put any on tonight.  But you can see what a difference they make.

Pros of the Circle Contact Lenses
  • Use just like any other contact lenses.
  • You are able to get these in prescription.
  • So many different styles and colors to choose from.
  • The kit includes everything that you need.
Cons of the Circle Contact Lenses
  • I haven't found any cons of these lenses.
          Summary

I've been waiting and waiting to use these!  They are so fun, so easy, and they can really bring a lot of drama to whatever look you decide to create.  I am definitely going to get a few other pairs of these lenses, there are so many to choose from!
