..::Product Review::.. VIA Cosmedics Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask

My Review of VIA Cosmedics Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"More than just a mud, this advanced facial treatment mask is formulated with powerful age-fighting peptides to rejuvenate your skin and restore your natural radiance at any age. Nutrient rich bentonite and kaolin clays, infused with botanicals, visibly extract impurities from the pores to clear the skin of problematic dirt, oil, and toxins. Tones complexion and tightens pores to reduce size. Softens, smooths, and brightens skin for a silky, youthful looking appearance."

Review…

I was sent a 2.0 fl oz jar of the Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask from VIA Cosmedics to review.

The price for this mask is $29.95.

Packaging & Presentation of VIA Cosmedics Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask

This mask arrived in decent condition.  A tiny bit of the oil from the mask leaked out of the jar into the box, but after I wiped it off, it was fine.  The jar was shipped inside of a box.  It is white and black with green accents.  It measures 2.5" x 2.5"x 2.25" at its widest points.

The front of the box labels the product, brand, and sizing information. The back of the box provides the ingredients, storage information, warnings, and contact information.  This mask has a 12-month PAO, is not tested on animals, and is made in a GMP-certified facility.

The right side of the box outlines the directions and benefits of this mask.  The left side of the box details more about the product, lists the key ingredients, and provides the product indications.

The box opens via the flip-top method, and there is a small plastic safety seal over the crease.

The jar itself measures 1.75" x 2.25".

The jar replicates the same information as the box.

The expiration date is located on the bottom of the jar.

The jar was covered in a plastic safety seal.  When you open up the cap, you'll find a dust cover as well.

My Personal Experience with VIA Cosmedics Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask

You guys should know by now that masks are one of my favorite skin care products.  All types of them.  I love mud masks because they are very deep cleansing, but they can also be messy, too.  They have so many benefits!

This mask is very firm, and it holds together well.

The mask itself is a sandy gray, and it is not runny.  Although it is quite thick, it actually spreads very easily, and a little bit of it covers a large surface area.  It smells very herbal and somewhat medicinal.

Since you only apply a thin layer, it dries pretty quick.  I've noticed a little tingling with it, but that doesn't last long.  My face feels super cleansed after I wash it off, but unlike other mud masks, this one doesn't dry out your skin.

Pros of VIA Cosmedics Anti-Aging Peptide MegaMud Mask
  • The quality of this mask is undeniable.
  • The mask spreads evenly and thoroughly.
  • Ingredients geared towards anti-aging.
  • Made  for all skin types!
