..::Product Review::.. Zakia's Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder

My Review of Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder

What is it exactly?

     From the website. . .
"A weekly mask with natural and organic clay from deep inside the Ancient Atlas Mountains of Morocco are the perfect skin treatment for cleaning, detoxifying, toning and rejuvenating. A facial mask treatment made from Ghassoul clay can be relaxing and give your skin a new healthy glow. Ghassoul clay's most impressive properties in skin improvement are its capacity of absorption and adsorption due to its high level of ion exchange. Ghassoul is a mineral rich, light brown clay that blends extremely well with water making its application to the face and skin a smooth and delightful experience. Use on skin and hair - it even makes for a fabulous shampoo; mix a small amount of powder in your favorite shampoo - wash and rinse. Super cleansing!"

Review…

I was sent an 8.0 fl oz jar of Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder from Zakia's Morocco to review.

This 8.0 fl oz jar costs $10.99.

Packaging & Presentation of Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder

This jar of Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder arrived safely to my door.  Nothing was broken or leaking.  The jar itself is a clear plastic, and the label is grayish brown with white accents.  It comes with a screw-top lid, too.  I received a handy guide to application along with the powder.

The jar measures 3.0" x 2.75".  The front of the jar labels the brand, product, and sizing information.  The back of the jar details the product in both English and French (?).  You will also find the ingredients and warnings listed here.

Right in the middle of this information, you will find a little break where it mentions that this product is 100% pure and natural.  You will also find the importer's contact information.

The jar is also covered in a full safety seal.  Grab some scissors to cut this one off!

My Personal Experience with Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder

absolutely love doing at-home beauty spas.  It's an extremely relaxing moment in time, and you can save so much money by doing it yourself.

This Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder is very fine.  It's one of the finest clay powders that I have ever used.  It's soft, easy to work with, and well packed.  You can see that it is brown in color.

The 'How To Guide' was printed in color, and it gives amazing directions.  It tells you how to make a facial mask, a hair mask, a deep cleaning shampoo, and even a full body mask!

Cons of Moroccan Ghassoul Clay Powder
      • I haven't found any cons of this!
            Summary

I was super impressed with this product.  I have bought clay powders in the past, and none of them compare to this one.  The powder is really fine,  and fragrance-free.  It creates a mask that you wear for 20-minutes that completely removes impurities, and takes off all of your dead skin cells.  It's a great addition to any skin care collection.  Not to mention all of the other uses!
